logging in

I really thought this would be pretty simple. I've made websites back in the day, and used various publishing apps and ftp clients. I have the most simple, dumb ass problem. I can't log in! My user name is nightex, my site is otr.exofire.net. But I'm trying to log in using an ftp client, and either the server name, login or pass is incorrect. Since I'm pretty sure I know my l/p is fine, it must be the server name. Do I just use http://otr.exofire.net?

Well, be aware that you may have different account names on signup. Your ftp user and pass is the same as that for CPanel, not for the forum. Also, this may sound redundant, but don't put the http:// prefix in the address bar for the ftp client. Just use "otr.exofire.net" (without the quotes).

What ftp client are you using?

I knew I was being dumb. Is sorted now. Was using the wrong pass, forgot I'd made separate ones for forum and site.
