Hello, and tech question
Hi! We are a new business, and brand new to both the forum and
web hosting. How do I upload data to a website from a html document
created in a MS Word clone to the World Wide Web?

Welcome to x10 Hosting.
As far as your question, you will need an FTP client. I suggest SmartFTP www.smartftp.com and you need to connect to the specified FTP server for your account into the public_html folder. Also make sure the file ends in .htm, .html or .php for it to work properly. Also make sure the first page is called index.htm, index.html or index.php.

Welcome to x10 dmchugh!
If you don't want to deal with FTP, ZIP up your site's files, log into cPanel and the file manager, then upload your ZIP file to the public_html folder, and then tell cPanel to extract it. Once extracted, check out your site, and if all is good, remove the ZIP from your drive.

Thanks, dwhite. I've downloaded Smart FTP and am about to post the web
site.
