Hi All,

First off, I'm going to tell you the basics:-

Name: Martin P
Age: 16
Birthday: November 6th
Location: England

Like everyone, I'm interested in making a little bit of extra money. I've read those tips, where people say they make $xxx,xxx,xxx. Do they really? Maybe the odd one or two from online websites/forums but not the many who claim they do.
The whole web hosting and domaining has gripped me, but being young and no credit card to purchase things online and less-than-understanding parents, or just over-protective I have been stopped so far in trying to make some money. Although, I have made a bit of money. I buy 'goods' in for whatever the price and sell them back out for a little more. I've sold smoke bombs, bags of sweets and chocolate bars and made a profit of £78.50 so far. I've also got money from my parents to go out, and when I give them the change I take a small amount for myself - technically stealing but what they don't know can't hurt, right? Now I've said that I bet they find there way on here and read all this.

I've tried money makers like Adsense, Text Link Ads and the like but they've never really kicked off for me and I've never had the patience to perfect the locations for the ad.

I hope to become an active part of this forum, and already take in the excellent free hosting that X10 provides. I can see alot of work has gone in to sorting out all the server problems which were a nuisance but it was well worth it.
