Exclamation Need Help in Uploading a Webpage

    Hello,

Im new to X10 Hosting and i wanted to know how to upload my web page to my site. I have downloaded a CSS Template from the internet and I've edited it with Microsoft® Expression™ Web 2 and Adobe® Dreamweaver™ CS3. I have no idea :dunno: how to upload it. Please tell me how and please be thorough in explaining the steps or process. Thank You.:happysad:

    Hi Sample123

I'm not an experienced user but here's a clue on how to start.
First enter your account by logging in here:

    http://x10hosting.com/account

On your detailed account page look for the url to your cpanel interface
(third down from the top left) as example:
    cPanel URL:http://YOUR_ACCOUNT.x10hosting.com:2082

Click on it and log in. Under the Files tab...here you will be able to set up either FTP access to your site or set up the secure web disk. I've done both but the web disk is the greatest thing since sliced bread. With the web disk set up and logged in, you just drag and drop files, directories, whatever as if the server was on your desktop. Just put everything in the WWW folder and it should be publicly accessable. Your home page should be named index.html

Poke around the forums. There are lots of tutorials on how to get started.
    I hope this helps.
    Skip.

If you are new to this, follow these instructions:
    1) Log into cPanel ( yourdomain.com:2082 )
    2) Click "File Manager"
    3) Make sure you are in the "public_html" folder. If you are not, double click the folder icon.
    4) Click Upload at the top.
    5) Search for the file on your computer and submit it to upload
    6) It should now be uploaded!
Next time, please post in the appropriate forum.
