You don't need to create a thread to reactivate your account.

If you have timed out, entering your cPanel username in the suspended page will give you a reason. For not logging onto the forums, there should be an 'Unsuspend' link.

To keep your account active, you also only have to log in, not create a thread.

To unsuspend your account, click the "Unsuspenion Request" link on the left hand side of this page.
