Well my job has some web requirements. So far I can do a bit of this and that.

But I want to do more and I've to teach myself.

Still waiting to see whether my x10hosting domain is completed though. I registered it 2 days ago, but the queue is LONG!

Welcome to x10 filmfreak! The accounts for as far as I know are still in Queue because of a cPanel bug that is messing with the systems. Once that is finished the accounts should begin to flow, but here's some basics for you.

cPanel is your tool to managing your website. You can use cPanel to run Cron Jobs, install Handlers for your site, manage files on your site, MySQL databases, and more. It is accessed by adding :2082 to the end of your site URL such as http*://mysite.x10hosting.com:2082 (without the star). your FTP address should you want to use FTP to upload your site is simply your website address with ftp:// should your client require it and the port is 21. Username and password is your cPanel user and pass. E-mail servers for mail clients are given by cPanel and be created for you.
