X10 is undoubtabley one of the best Web Hosting solutions available out there with the amazing range of tools and support it provides to even its basic members.

Was wondering if there is a way to upload an entire directory from my local system using the file manager or something instead of selecting each file and uploading one by one?

You may use a FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program like 'Filezilla' , upload/FTP your files to public_html folder.
