Hello - and a query

Hi everyone,

i signed up for some free hosting a few weeks ago.
initially everything was go and i uploaded a few test files.
recently i am having problems accessing my html files (error 400/ 404) on -

http://www.paulleaman.x10hosting.com/

i'd like to create a profile website, but with these intermittent errors
i cannot provide reliable links.

any ideas on what is happening here ?

yes, I suspect it has to with that your account were moved to a new server. There's been plenty announcements about this work.

unfortunately some files were lost in the transfer, although there's backups. If you know what files you are missing, you can submit a ticket to have those restored. If you do not know we'd need to do a full restore, with full restore you need to backup files you do not want to be overwritten.

attempts to access my account with FTP program reports -
Failed to determine working directory.

Should i sign up for a new account ?

As LadyAnna said, you could submit a Support ticket to try & get your old account fixed.

i have submitted a Support ticket.

Will the response be through my x10 hosting mail account ?

If so, my email program tells me that it is unable to send or receive
messages as the connection to the server has failed.

when i aceess the User CP to check the original email address supplied
i get this error -
A required field called Newsletter is missing or has an invalid value.
