I would use AllSat and modify the images to match something related to runescape. the template can be downloaded here: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=381338

AllStat should work on phpBB3, especially since there isn't really much difference between the two. I think majority of the templates are compatible with phpBB3.
Just upload AllStat to your template directory and do not set it as a default.
Create a new user and change the users default template to AllStat and check if it works. If it does then make it your default.

The AllStat template would not work because there are to many changes. I tried it.
I'm closing this because I found a template I like.
