Whats the point of credits???

I know this may sound stupid, but I havent got a clue why everyone uses "credits" on this site

With 9000 of them you could get a free domain. =)
Also, a lot of people don't want to pay money for things, and you can earn credits to buy other services from x10 member for no monetary downset, such as a userbar for example. *pokes signature* It was made by someone else. I could never make something that beautiful for myself, and I paid in credits. =D

You can basically do anything as you would with real money, but within the confines of x10Hosting.

as far as I understand... you get credits by either buying them.

or, if you help people on the forums like something you make for them to, or some specific help. you can after someone has helped you, similliar to the reputation systems on some sites, pay them with these credits.
