One suggestion. After user clicks on Activation link and when user lands up on your site, it is better to provide her/him login form there itself instead of just telling them to login.

In submit news, save and cancel button is hiding under Google Ads (First sidebar). It shows up first but as soon as you select on category, it goes behind ads. I manage to submit by clicking on corner (guessing where exactly it is).

However nice site. I hope you are using Joomla. Which template is this.
