Your gona have to be more specific then that.

    First, what kinda project:
    -Motor/servo control
    -Displays, like extra lcd displays
    -Lighting control
    -etc

    Second, what kind of interface:
    -USB
    -Serial
    -Parellel/Printer Port
    -SMBus
    -PCI/ISA
    -etc

    Third, the programming language:
VB6, I know this language but I've been going more toward VS2005. Ive ported/converted all my old VB6 projects to VS2005. Eventualy Ill have to go to VS2008. Some of VB6 APIs and certain code dosent work, runs slow, or hogs cpu and memory on XP and Vista.

Anything thats easy to understand and explain ... but needs major control through PC

As this is for my College Project I can only use VB6 language

    Interface

    USB
or Parallel or Serial port will do

    Project type

    1. Stepper Motor Control is my one option

    2. Anything like CAN or DAS will do
