I need a program that will run in MS-DOS on Windows XP. I dont care what scripting language it is in as long as it runs in MS-DOS on Windows XP. I would like it if it could ask me what process I would like to kill. I input a process, and it kills it.

Is this what you are looking for? It's a windows program that I have tested on windows: 2000, XP, Vista. It worked fine on all three and it allows you to kill ANY process that is currently running on your computer. It doesn't let you type in a process name though, I don't know of any program that will do that since it is kind of hard to do that. But every single process that is running on your computer will be listed by this program, so it will still kill what ever process you want killed. What I like about this program is that it is non Microsoft, so it will show you the hidden system processes that windows task manager won't show.
