Two week inactivity timer in affect immediately

We have a two week inactivity timer going into affect immediately. Please make sure you login to your cPanel ATLEAST once every two weeks.

This is going to help clean up the servers and make sure we're only hosting active people. If you plan to go away please leave your login info with someone you trust, there is no way at this time for us to excuse certain users from this.

I have a feeling that is isn't gonna work. I would say every 30 days, as someone may forget to log onto their cPanel. What if there's some server catastrophe for two weeks? Why can't it at least be complete site inactivity for 2 weeks.

This is the best way to get rid of high server load and accounts that ppl have not taken care of. All it takes is a couple minutes of your time to log in and check things out. As for server catastrophes I think we have had one here since I`ve been here and its wasnt for 2 weeks.

Yeah, but I don't like the idea of giving someone else my cPanel login.

Does this also apply for paid accounts?

This is probably one of the most bogus things I have ever had the misfortune of hearing.

So you're having server problems. You keep punishing your clients. First we could no longer automatically sign up for any account except for static. I fail to see the reasoning behind this, but alright. Now we're going to have everything deleted if we don't get into the cp for 2 weeks? I have cervical cancer and sometimes spend weeks in the hospital at a time. Even though i'm not around, my site can still be updated via the frontend by any staff that I have. And now I'm going to have to either very very very reluctantly give somebody permission to my entire control panel when I won't give anyone access to my administration backend because other wise my entire account will get deleted.

Well, if nothing else, the next time I go for treatment, I'll be sure to backup all my databases and info so when I come back I'll have them for my move to another host. This is completely out of my control and yet there's nothing I can do about it because of yow you decide to handle your server troubles. (and just between you and me, I highly doubt that's going to keep the server from messing up, so in my opinion this is just a complete and utter waste of your time and a very good means to make all your non-paid clients bolt)

No offense, I love this hosting, but i do think I'll have to start searching for another. I can't take the chance that an emergency hits and I come back to nothing after all of the hard work and effort that I've put into it.

    *rolls eyes*

well, i wish you all the best and hope that I'm completely wrong on where this hosting is going
