What do you think of positive subliminal messages. Do they work?

It's like hypnosis, with a limited number of people it does really work.
Your subconscious will absorb and keep the information if your eyes could detect it (whether you 'see' it or not) but using the information relies on a lot of variables.
It sounds harsh, but most 'weak minded' people will have determinable results from subconscious alteration (Hypnosis and the such), that may actually be brought about by the conscious mind's want or need for it to work.
There are a lot of theories, and a lot of results from, well, a lot of tests. So it's really a 'Believe what you will' subject.
What I believe is that the human mind is not an absolute thing. It will work as intended in some cases, it won't in others.(Most) But you will absorb the information, regardless.(Your mind, possibly wired to paranoia for survival, actually tends to hold onto such things longer than 'traditional' knowledge. IE subjects of hypnosis appearing in dreams for years and years to come while daily events could be lost in hours)
If I weren't always here after midnight I could probably discuss this intelligently, but I think I got my point across.
Yeah. We're supposed to be studying this in Psychology soon. I'm sure it'll be rather interesting.

I found this interesting article.
It is not about subliminal messages but is about positive thinking.

The thing is, does message become subliminal if you look at it often enough? ie. If you put a sign on the fridge that says "I eat healthy everyday", does it become subliminal when you stop actively reading the sign?
Something I always wondered about..
with so many web sites showing banner ads and so forth has anybody tried using 'flash frames' inside the visible text or is this strictly forbidden ?
I wonder if someone could inject some subliminal messages inside of a YouTube video or something.
