Well, personally, I would reccommend Alienware, due to their support, and the quality of their computers, followed my Dell, also because of their support. I don't know what you mean by "expensive" but I consider the quality of Alienware to be so good, that it fits the prices perfectly.
I would reccomend Dell and Sony. Those 2 are the best companys that you can buy pc's from!
Build your own computer custom, have a shop build it but you pick out the parts. That way you know what your getting and its not as expensive as a name brand. IMHO
P.C. Tweakr - For all your computer and internet support
P.C. Tweakr - For all your SMF help and support
I can tell you countless good computers but first what price are you willing to pay, which will cut down my list.
I agree with bigguy, build your own (and if you dont know how, like bigguy said send it to your local computer shop) That is what I do, but I actually build mine![]()
hmm preferably under 1000 bucks
and in response to dsfreak, alienwares are a rip off
i have a sony computer personally, it has never had any trouble but i think sony is too pricey
ive heard only bad stories about hp and dell
i.e. hp has poor quality motherboards that fail after a year, preinstalled spyware
i.e. dell has preinstalled spyware, crash often
You are only 50% correct. The things that you said about HP is true and that they suck. :naughty:Originally Posted by sentient1080
What you said about Dell is wrong. :liar: There are no pre-installed spy-ware. It also dose not crash a lot. Even if they did you can send them to dell and they will see what is wrong. Also with Dell you have the best COustomer Support so if you are having a hard time they will fix it right away.
I have three computers, The best way to do it is custom pick the parts and get it bulit. (When you get them custom built here an uprage from 80 GB hrad drive to a 200 GB hard drive Plus 512 ram to 2 GB ram is only like 50 bucks!)Local shops are best i'd say.
Bang he shot the words out my mouth He is 100% right, building your own is sometimes the cheapest.Originally Posted by Mr. Brownlove
