    Question Best Sub-domain Name

x10hosting gives us several options on a sub-domain name. I picked one ending with .x10hosting.com mainly because of the .com. Is it really better to have a domain ending in .com?

This doesn't necessarily matter if you're picking a subdomain.

You could always get a co.cc since it's short. But it doesn't really matter unless you want it almost to be like a real domain which is shorter.

    Re: Best Sub-domain Name

it's better only in a 'human' way.
normally people only remember addresses as .com.
and on keyboard, u can conveniently type the name and press ctrl+enter. .com will be parse in automatically. i always use this.

but to the robots, like google/yahoo/bling, they don't really care. they crawl and return searches no matter .com or .net

but if u're in subdomain, imo, don't bother?
