FTP help??

Hi All,
Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but been trying to think what location best to ask these questions, hoping someone can help...

I have a few folders that i cannot seem to delete or even change permissions on.
basicly i have had to remove my site due to some miss installed addtional mods... so i cleaned up the folders (tryed to remove them) but some of them simply won't delete... as soon as i refresh they are back... i have been able to rename them (putting 1 in front of them) and copy my backup back... but now i am left with these messy folders i cannot seem to remove... its inside my public html folder...

Check the permissions, and make sure you have write access to the folders, and all contents. Software like Drupal sometimes sets folders up such that you don't have permissions to write on them, but since you are the owner you can still change the permissions, and then delete the folder.
