    Important...Help with Questions Please

It has been time since I logged here to just chat...but my time is precious.

Hello everyone, I have come today to ask for some information.
First things first, I do not know how to script. I do not know how to make great websites, I do not know anything of that stuff...I am a novice.

BUT, I am an innovator, I come up with ideas, I guess I'm a genius? haha..

Well the reason I am here is to ask for some information. Just use the information I give you to handsomely answer my question please...

I have a minimum of 50 million visitors to my site, every month, each visit from those 50 million people, would bring me at least, 10 cents, for that month.

Now, can x10hosting.com ...host that site for me, if I transfer everything over to here? I would of course pay for the hosting, and so on, financing is no matter of importance.

I have gone through a couple of hosting companies and honestly, they all laughed in my face. Well, I am here to get laughed at again...?

or, if moving my sites to x10hosting would be a drain, to everything and everyone else using it..

    a. What would you suggest I do?
    b. Is there an existing hosting company, capable of hosting my sites?
    c. Would you suggest, I get a couple of angel/capital investors to fund our own hosting? (Once again I do not know how much it costs to run a hosting company.)

Please try to help me with my situation. If you have anything else that would help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thankyou,

    John Klyne.

    Re: Important...

I'm sure x10's premium plans can hold your site, seeing as they have unlimited bandwith. However, depending on what your site does and how many people use it at one time, you may violate resource usage policys.

In this case, I'd suggest purchasing a VPS (either from here or elsewhere, but don't discuss the "elsewhere" here). A vps could do all the things you probably will ever need, and there aren't restrictions as to how much you use (except for the limits set by the package).

In answer to your third question, it costs a lot to run a hosting company. If you were looking to do this, you'd need a fair amount of money. With cPanel, billing systems, servers, etc, it would cost a lot. Especially since you (I'm assuming) are also a novice at Linux computing and managing services and servers. So I'd say starting a hosting company is not only silly, but not needed.

Thanks for the link to the site.

I am sure x10 premium wouldn't have a problem with it.

    Re: Important...

50 million visitors doesn't mean much when it comes to questions like this, monthly bandwidth is the right word. We need to know how much bandwidth your site consumes on a monthly basis.

On the other hand you have to contact the x10Hosting stuff directly or make a support ticket about it because serious questions like this won't get solved on the forum.

If x10Hosting is not ready to host your site then try http://mediatemple.net/ They are sure to fulfill all your needs but they don't come cheap.

Yea it costs a lot to run a hosting company, money to start one is not an issue for me at the moment. Hosting it on my own is the last resort.

I understand what you mean with the last line, but you would be surprised what people you know nothing about have under their sleeves.

Business, financial matters are only held within the corporation.

As stated previously, I regret to inform you that I have not linked to this business. Yes I understand a dedicated server would be necessary.
