Mine's heavily skewed, I'll explain why after the image:

I'm on 5MegaBit, it should be showing about 5Mb/sec up, but Charter started that whole speed-boost thing now so for short bursts, it goes about 5x as fast. Hence the 24.

    Still like it though.

Get a job!!! (And then your own internet connection... Otherwise it's nothing more than "my dad's got a faster car than your dad")
The physics is theoretical but the fun is real.

    Re: Beat this...

Glad to see you've finally gotten Fiber Optic internet to replace your old connection vigge! I recall you telling me about that being available a few months ago on the x10 IRC. Fiber Optic Internet has moved three more miles towards me, so it's literally two miles away. For the most part the fastest Symmetrical package I'll be able to get from that is 35Mbps/35Mbps, but I can also get a 50Mbps/20Mbps package and it's rumored that there may be a 50Mbps/50Mbps package being cooked up by my current ISP for that fiber service. The only thing I can do for now is sit and wait while my DSL line moves along. If only my sync rate for the DSL modem could be uncapped too. I'd be able to handle the max sync rates ADSL2+ has to offer since the DSLAM is sitting on my lawn and is fiber fed.

Here is however, my speed test taken from http://ndt.iupui.lga01.measurement-lab.org:7123/ which is an NDT server (Vastly superior to flash tests). This was taken with IPv4 addresses even though I can use IPv6 to this server just to compare better with the above results.

    Code:
    TCP/Web100 Network Diagnostic Tool v3.5.6
    click START to begin

    ** Starting test 1 of 1 **
Connecting to 'ndt.iupui.lga01.measurement-lab.org' [ndt.iupui.lga01.measurement-lab.org/74.63.50.32] to run test
    Connected to: ndt.iupui.lga01.measurement-lab.org -- Using IPv4 address
    Checking for Middleboxes . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Done
    checking for firewalls . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Done
    running 10s outbound test (client-to-server [C2S]) . . . . . 1556.7kb/s
    running 10s inbound test (server-to-client [S2C]) . . . . . . 7280.37kb/s
Your PC is connected to a Cable/DSL modem
Information: Other network traffic is congesting the link

    click START to re-test

Keep in mind that server is located in New York, New York. Here's the site which lists all of the NDT servers ran by Measurement Lab.
