Playstation 3 NO aV

I know this is not the ps3 place but I'm hoping somebody can help me out with this.

My tv won't display the picture for my ps3. I have an AV cable and it worked fine but it just suddenly stopped working. I tested the inputs on my tv and the dvd player worked fine. I also tested another AV cable and still the same! I just get sound no video.
I tried HDMI on parents tv and that works but it wont work in my room were I need it most.

Is there a reset?

The only reset that I'm aware of on the PS3 is holding down the power button for 10 seconds I think. That will get the PS3 to re-detect the video input. Otherwise, I would have no suggestions
