what are you using to connect? I tried searching the error code, and it seem to be related to some webclients.

Pretty plain connection. Firefox and Ubuntu....no worries for me. The webhost may take notice. I will move on to something that actually works.

You could try downloading a proper IRC desktop application rather than relying on flash in the browser. I don't really know much about Ubuntu IRC clients, but a quick search turned up either XChat or http://www.mirc.com/ that you could try. Desktop IRC clients are far superior to the in browser ones, I recommend you give it one last try.
