    Question Sitemap Crawling Confusion !

    Hello,

First of All, I hope that I've posted this in Right Place.

I've used http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ for creating Sitemap of my website to SUBMIT it to GOOGLE.

But after seeing the Crawling Errors in my Webmaster Tools, I am in a bit confusion.

Actually, It was showing a 404 Not Found Error for some of the Links in the Sitemap.

But I am confused about some of the Links that I am not Hosting on my Website and even then they are showing in Sitemap or getting Crawled

    Some of them are :

    http://www.clan-icsl.com/privacy_policy.php
    http://www.clan-icsl.com/myfiles.php
    http://www.clan-icsl.com/myaccount/statistics.php
    http://www.clan-icsl.com/myaccount/billinghistory.php
    http://www.clan-icsl.com/myaccount/addbandwidth.php
    http://www.clan-icsl.com/link_to_mediafire.php

Are these Links holds by my Cpanel? Or by the WHM of Hosting?

Please tell me something about that !!!

    Re: Sitemap Crawling Confusion !

Did you look over the sitemap before submitting it? I am not familiar with the sitemap service you are using but I would start by creating a new sitemap and then carefully reviewing it before submitting. If there are links in there that either do not exist or you do not want included in your sitemap then remove those entries before submitting. These things all seem to work a little different. Take a look at any settings or options available for creating and generating your sitemap and make sure that these settings are correct. Sometimes these things look for files or folders by default that you may or may not want included in your sitemap.
