Shoutcast Server

I just set up a shoutcast server on my home computer. This allows for people to "listen in" on what I'm listening to at the current time. I don't know how of you are interested in listening to it, but I guess I'll throw it out there if someone wants to.

The IP/Port is:

http://66.24.80.178:7050

The direct link to listen to it is:

http://66.24.80.178:7050/listen.pls

(You can go into Winamp and click on "Add", then "URL" to add it directly, or just click it.)

I'm mostly going to play the stuff I want to play, which is almost all rock, "heavy" rock, or metal. (Such as Poison The Well, It Dies Today, As I Lay Dying, umm, even some RATM.) If someone wants to hear a song though, I can play it for you.

I can handle a good amount of connections each at about 256 KBPS, so yea, you know you wanna listen to some music that's good quality.

Edit: Also, you need Winamp to listen in.

Lol, jk. That's pretty cool maybe I will tune in for a bit, seems to be my favorite genre of music aswell. And PS. you should really get DNS redirected because like I said above people could packet you. :/

Iv'e been trying to set mine up for over a month now.. adn it's just not working I must be doing somthing rong.. ( Think my router has anything to do with it?)

Most likely your router, I had one a while ago and it was a PAIN IN THE <insert>ING ... to configure my router. (well, my router was garbage).

*Edit: Damn, didn't realize you said it only works with Winamp. Got to dust off the old bit torrent for this job. ;)

Most likely your router, I had one a while ago and it was a PAIN IN THE <insert>ING ... to configure my router. (well, my router was garbage).

Well I've been to lazy to go into my router and do the gaming/apps thing and unblock the exe thing for the shoutcast server thing.. ( I had to do it when I set up game servers)

Hmm. How is the quality? It's at 256 KBPS, but I don't know how that is "on the other end". Is it actually working? I see a few people are listening..
