Can't generally get a free domain, though if you find any way that is legitimate to getting a free domain, I'm sure many would jump on it.

.tk 's are free... But, they are not a .com I don't think there is a way to get a free .com
I used to have a .tk They are pretty easy to deal with too. There's some restrictions, but it's free, who can complain.

I'm using a co.cc domain name to test before buying a .com, and a .com is only about 10 bucks a year.

Look at the rewards tab on this forum.You can get a free domain in this way on the internet.Premium top level domains are not free.

bhupendra but where is that reward tab. BTW, domains are so cheap nowadays that anybody can afford to buy it. And believe me once you'll buy there's barely any chance that you'll renew it. :P

^^ I agree with you about the rates.But before we upgrade to premium our application must be ready, otherwise it will be a loss maker.Although owning a .com domain with good name is useful because you can sell it to anybody else with higher price.
