Mind-boggling Keyboard Prob - Any solutions pls ???

Hi

I think the little gremlins have got into my pc last night cos all was working perfectly
well yesterday. Turned on today to find that the numbers are not working when
pressed.

Infact I can only get 5 and 6 to work ???

all else including inverted commas, dollar sign etc etc are all buggered.

I've not spilled anything or done something that i'm aware of to change or alter
any settings including num-lock so I am totally confused............

Have also had a good tap/clean to get rid of any dust or whatever but.............

So........has this happened to u??? Any suggestions would be great .

Try pressing every button on the keyboard? Lol just kidding :P. I always have the problem of pressing alt+shift switching from Swedish keyboard to American keyboard without noticing, but this seem more confusing.

Is this a laptop?

Also, http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=215035 he seems to have same issue, but sadly they told him to get a new keyboard.


You could always try to press alt+shift, who know, maybe you changed keyboard layout to something really weird lol

yes..it's a laptop. and i've just tried the alt/shift thingy but.....no luck...
gonna have a look in my keyboard settings and look into this swedish/american thing u mentioned.
