Exclamation Error: Unable to connect to MySQL server. MySQL reported: Too many connections.

    Hello,

I am no longer able to go to one specific website.... "8bc.org". I had been going to it fine for over a month and then all of a sudden I get this error message:

Error: Unable to connect to MySQL server. MySQL reported: Too many connections.

Everything else works fine, it's just that one site.... I'm using a laptop to connect to my parents internet with wireless. I tried to get on the website from their computer and I got the same message! I've read in forums about the solutions to this problem, and I don't have a clue what they are talking about. I don't know what a "MySQL" is and I don't know how to log into it or edit settings for numbers of connections. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

8bc.org is not hosted on x10hosting

That website isn't hosted by x10Hosting, so there isn't much I can really do in regards to solving their MySQL issues. Anyhow, MySQL is a Database Engine so to speak, which stores information for a website. For example, this forum uses MySQL databases to store posts, user accounts, and basically anything else that a database would store. Blogging systems use MySQL databases to store the posts and comments.

Unless the website is yours, you won't be able to do much short of contacting the webmaster and letting them know their database server needs attention.

Moving to Off Topic cause this has nothing to do with the x10hosting Free Hosting service, and there's not a fitting place on the forum for it.

However, that error is nothing you can do - that is something the website owner has to fix.
