Ok, 3dstudio, maya, renderman, poser, swift and a very long etc...

But, what about rugrats, the simpsons, sponge bob... which software or technique is used?

I have been looking around and seems like this is it.

http://www.toonboom.com/products/toonBoomStudio/ 300 dollars for it. Thats what the professionals most likely use.
