    Mozilla Firefox

Can anyone tell me the advantages of this over Internet Explorer...

The only difference I know is that it doesnt let you go to every site.

I'm not going to say Firefox is a better browser than IE, because I've had good experiences with both. The thing I like about FF compared to IE6 is the better security, tabbed browsing and the addons (like extensions and cool themes). I haven't had any problems as far as going to any sites though...

firefox has tabbed browsing, extensions (stuff like gmail and yahoo managers: icons built onto the browser which keep you updated on your email, rather than going to it and periodically checking it, and adblock which removes banner ads before the page is even loaded) cool themes: mostly crystal is a linux crystal icon set, great download manager, faster, and overall just alot better!

I like FF in many things, however I don't like when it tries to download a php file instead of open it.

I've never had FF downloading PHP files. You mean PDF files?

Could be some setting you are using. What version are you using Alejandro?

No, when a php file takes more time than expected to load, it tries to download it, it happens to me a lot.
