Direct Downloading?

I was wondering if you can have the server download files directly to its self,
so basically i don't want to Download These Files (Speed Test App) Then Have to Upload them (FTP)

So i was wondering if you can directly download files to the server or not :P

ALL help well appreciated (unless your Rude about it! )
I couldn't find the right section for this (if there was one)

*If Not Ill start a poll or something to see if we cant get X10 to do it :P

Are you saying that you connect your hosting account to another site through FTP?
Anyways,the speedtest stuff..will cause so many in/out requests from the server and I (personally) think that it may expose your account to High Resources Usage suspensions.

The only way to do that would be using wget or a similar tool on the command line shell, which free hosting does not have access to.

Also, as vv.bbcc19 said, a speedtest app, if popular, could create high resource usage and result in your account being suspended. They create lots of connections.
