    microsoft's campaign against firefox

so when i heard about IE7beta2 i was like heh so this is microsoft's pathetic attempt at trying to oust firefox's growing popularity

little did i know microsoft had a second ploy up its sleeve; i was using firefox as usual, and BAM i got this alert:

muahah those jerks.. if they were smart enough they'd only put the 'keep blocking' button

my friend has said this has happened before to him, even with IE
but i still think its a scheme :naughty:

That is just one of the generic security warnings that XP sends out.
When you installed IE7beta2 it must have overwridden some of the security settings that you'ld already setup.

yah, windows will try to block its own software if it needs to.... mostly because if something used software to connect to the internet, even microsofts, they would still want to catch it.

*i saw msn firewall block msn from connection online... not uncommon*
