Ive heard of freelance web designers before, and have just looked into them. They sell some templates for $100+ and i know i could easily do better.

Any idea's how I could start selling templates or making personal websites for people?

Also, how much should i charge if i did start selling some designs/websites?

Well first of all you must make sure that you can do better; i.e. send professional web designers some watermarked previews and see if they're monetary-worthy. If so, then you should get a domain name, and hire people to help you spam the rest of the internet about your services.

but to start off u might have to charge a lil lower to get started getting customers. wat prog do u use?

I usually use:
Photoshop for graphics and to (sometimes) create a whole site
Imageready to cut up the sites
Dreamweaver to edit/add code
and i think thats it. would £10 for a average template be too much or acceptable?

It depends on the quality of the template. I feel £10 for a fairly decent template is ok!

I think that you should charge more, the better, and the more complicated etc the template is, so for example if it contains flash elements and you spent an extra day creating it, ad an extra £2 or something.

Also, as mentioned earlier, the more professional you become, the more visitors/customers you get the more money you shall make.

It all comes down to the wuality, because if they are utter rubbish, then no one is going to buy them, however if they are decent, and are cheap, (£10), then you should be all right.

You should also register a domain, again mentioned earlier, which will show that your a bit more professional and not some dude, trying to con peeps outta their money.
