The newest Adobe Premiere is great from what my friend says. Only thing that sucks about it is that you need to have some specific type of processor that has SSE2 somethingerather enabled. Mine doesn't even have that option Which sucks cuz I want to use it so bad.

What else is there to use that is for complicated stuff?

    Re: Movie Editing programs

    About compression keyframes:
Compression keyframes are different from the keyframes placed in the Premiere Timeline window. Compression keyframes are automatically placed during export at regular intervals in the movie. During compression, they are stored as complete frames. The frames between the keyframes, called intermediate frames, are compared to the previous frame and only the changed data is stored. This process can greatly reduce file size, depending on the spacing of the keyframes. Fewer keyframes and more intermediate frames result in smaller file sizes, but produce lower-quality images and playback. More keyframes and fewer intermediate frames result in significantly larger file sizes, but produce higher-quality images and playback.

This is for Adobe Premiere 6 LE; I'm pretty sure different versions would have different help files. When you export the video there should be a function for editing size/quality/etc

P.S. I was going to send this in a PM Senor, but your inbox is maxed out right now

I use Sony Vegas 6 and I have found it so much better in my opinion that Adobe. This is a personal opinion and have not given Adobe a fair shot as of yet. Another easy program that I use is Ulead VideoStudio 9.

whatever program you use, do not use Pinnacle Studio! horrible bugs, and horrible support. I had to re do everything after spending weeks on it.

CyberLink PowerDirector has some dumb glitches too, which i used after that one. so i would not recommend those two for sure.

Adobe Premiere I'm planning on getting soon, sounds like its the best thing out there. hopefully it is.
