In my town, that was what happened to tupperware. Not sure if you have heard of them. It's some plastic ware that has a life guarantee. So if it breaks, you just go to the centre and get it changed.
But now every plastic container gets called tupperware even tho it's made by some other company. Like, "What's in your tupperware?" and not "What's in your lunch box?" So tupperware has lost its value as a brand Name.
The same goes for roller blades. It's a brand but then it became a noun. So Google will change from a brand to an verb.
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth" Romans 1:16
same as kleenex lol every one calls tissues kleenex now, well i do too haha
Day by day as GOOGLE grows it is going to have more probs n issues. I think this is just a small one. But whatever GOOGLE is the best not only the search engine but overall.
A ha ha ha ha ah, Google is starting to lose the advertising war's with more and more companies providing the 'adsense' type advertising for less. Losing 'adword' contracts because its becoming ineffective. And the thing they worry about is all the FREE advertising they get from people using their name in day to day conversation????? I mean you don't go 'I'm just going to Google something on Yahoo' do you? If you're googling something your going to use Google.
The worlds gone mad, I tell ya!
"A ha ha..." Please don't bring up old threads. Closed.
