People around here drive ATVs into town. ( 4-wheelers ) ... its actually legal. They just have to make sure its street worthy. They have done it before the gas hike. *lol*

Um, since I don't drive ... I can't give ya an exact figure. My wife says we are at 3 something a gallon still ( We're like the 2nd or 3rd highest still in the nation )

For me i dnt use an ATV but during the winter I drive my snowmobiles around my town. But only in my back yard ushally...as I can get up to about 60 MPH, then lock the brakes up and flip it...good thing im not wearing me helmet

But still my snowmobile aint streetworthy or gas efficent..it gets 5-6 MPG as the carbs are broken on it.

I drive an '01 Honda Accord sedan; it gets around 25 or so MPG; once I go to college I'm getting an '06 Civic (used, new, I don't care; it's a Civic!)

The main thing that determines my car purchase is the cost of the car, and gas mileage. Last thing I'm concerned about are its off road capabilities, luxury features, and stablizing safety whatnot. As long as the car is cheap, gets good mileage, is relatively low maintenance, and has an airbag, it works.

Here in Houston gas prices are around $2.30 for regular unleaded.. highest I've seen is $2.50 recently. Prices have gone down significantly.. and now that Chevron found that huge oil deposit in the Gulf of Mexico the United States will have some self reliance when it comes to oil (will take several years to drill though).

Gas prices won't ever go down significantly unless the demand drops.. the bottom line is, if it's cheap and gets good mileage, i.e. an '06 Honda Civic, I'm getting it.

umm, i don't drive yet but gas prices around here are just over $2.70, but with a $0.03 discount at the grocery store gas station, it's around $2.67

Well acourding to mass gas prices, http://massachusettsgasprices.com/, the lowest in MA is $2.25 and the hisgest is $3.20. If you go down a bit to $2.45, Hafners in Tewksbury thats were I live & go there for gas cuz its cheap....
