4 Gigapixels?

So, we've all heard of the 8 megapixel and so on? Well, lately I've been looking at digg.com, and I've come across an article that stated that these guys invented a camera nearing 4 gigapixels! I thought it was crazy but it seems real enough. They have alot of information on it on their site, plus some pictures that they took, then cropped down to almost 1:1!; And its still clear! The only downside- It weighs almost a 100 Lbs.

It has so much detail, they need to use a special film. A regular memory card wouldn't do.

Also, the power of this thing: If you were to take a picture of a town from an observation deck, you could zoom into a car and read its license plate.

Could be used for all sorts of things! They even noticed people staring down at the "Clothing Optional" Beach ..... kinda disgusting!
