It sounds like you are saying that if there wasn't x10 advertisement, that the servers would be more stable. Do you realize that the ads are not hosted on x10? ... I highly doubt the server issues have anything to do with the advertisements.

If you don't want ads, either pay the small fee for paid hosting, or get the static hosting account ( hence, no ads )

I was shocked at the free stuff they have. I'm trying to set up a webpage for a highschool non-profit organization and my home server isn't stable enough (and comcast's upload speed really isn't that great).

Unfortunately if you signed up in the last week or so you'll be stuck in a queue - account creation is on hold until they change datacenters and get a new server up.

x10 survives on the income it recieves from the ads, and also several other factors. The server stability is in no way at all affected by whether there is ads or not.
