Whenever I copy a pdf image into a png, the image gets fuzzy. I was told they need a clear image. My school asked me to add some text to a logo that they only had in a pdf. Is there a free pdf to image converter? Thanks.

Er, what version of Adobe Reader are you using? Can't you use the tool to highlight a certain area, copy it to your clipboard, paste into photoshop and select whatever format you want to save the captured image as?
I'm using Foxit Reader, and it seems to have some quality loss. I think that it may be because I just noticed I was somehow stretching it.
Ah, Foxit is pretty good when it comes to functionality and size, but just due to adaptability I still prefer the bulky Adobe Reader
When I pasted it into my image editing program, I did somehow stretch the picture. I was looking at a few prints I made when I edited some stuff in it and then I noticed the logo looked slightly stretched.

In foxit all I had to do was click and drag over the region I wanted to copy. It then copied that to my clipboard.
