First Snow Day In 4 Years!!!!!!!!!

The WOW starts NOW! I have my first snow day in four years!:hyper: :hyper:
This is so exciting. School starts at 8:40, I wake up for it at 7:50.
I wake up for some reason and look at my clock its 6:55 so Im thinking, uch only another 55 mins of sleep. I go back to sleep. I wake up, look at my clock its 10:15, SNOW DAY!!!!!!!!! But the sad thing to this is, saturday or sunday(cant remember) is the Jewish holiday of Purim, and me going to a jewish school, we celebrate it there every year on the day before it if its on a weekend, or on the day itself. This year it would have bbeen today, where we would have a carnival and would end school at usually 12:00 but this year, 3:00(because its not on the day, and my school usually ends at 4:15). So my class and two others being the oldest grade in the school( we have more than 3 classes in our grade,we have . SO this carnival would have been all day ran by us, me missing the few classes we had, and running the carnival.

I personally dont care, we worked for 2 weeks on this and missed so much class, but I would still rather be home, and I am sure they would re scheduale it. But many people are upset. I say WE HAVE NO SCHOOL!!!!

All the schools in my area are closed due to so much snow and ice. Power lines and trees blown over. half the city is with out power, and more storms on the way. (it's one thing to be with out power when it's warm out but another when it's below freezing.)

That's not too good to hear at all. In New York, we reached 50F for the first time in a long while today! It felt so nice, considering we were under 32F for a good few weeks! Oh, in recent memory, after our current mayor came in, we've had only 1 snow day to date.

I'm in the same boat as Senor and Phil and am currently without power. So the family and I are held up in a hotel for now.
