Is there a reason to over clock it?
    Thanks,

There is no point unless he wants to fry it or overheat his computer. Its raw power is already good enough for any game out there..

I prefer ATi, but with AMD and ATi possibly merging I must go to the nVidia camp since I hate AMD processors.
Bonjour, je m'appelle Dewayne. Je vous présente Stephanie. Elle est ma fiancée et elle est la personne la plus étonnante que j'ai rencontrée dans ma vie. Je suis très heureuse.

Nah you won't need something THAT high end; I've got a rather cheap low end nVidia FX5200 (128 MB dedicated), and it works fine. Just don't try playing Halo with that graphics card.

I hate ATi's video cards for one reason: horrible Linux drivers. NVIDIA's are much better, so if anyone plans to play games on Linux then NVIDIA is your best option.

Unless you think that ATi being owned by AMD will affect the quality of the video cards, that doesn't seem like a good reason to switch. I'm still using AMD64 (because I like it) even though I hate ATi.

Were do you get your nVidia drivers, when I install any Linux distro, X always crashes.
    Thanks,
