I will recommend you taking Kaspersky Security Suite If you really need a good and stable antivirus.

Or Else you may considering Nod32 which is basically an antivirus software only.

Paid ones? You might try Trend Micro Anti-Virus 2007. I use it and it works great. Not too expensive either!
