    E-mail Programs.

I am looking for a e-mail program that has POP service ( Where I can send mail from various e-mail services ) like Gmail & Hotmail.
I currently use Windows Live Mail ( an update to Outlook Express? ) ... but I'd like something a bit better ... that is free to use.

Something that allows me to better separate my e-mail accounts ( As I have some for personal and some for future business plans )

    Any ideas?

--- Edited : Also just for giggles, I'm looking for some good e-mail services I could use ( something possibly anonymous and able to be checked using the e-mail program - like the Windows Live Mail program I have )

Maybe Mozilla Thunderbird? I think that runs pretty well.

I recommend thunderbird - I used it for a while, but it didn't have a rule option with do not download from server - highly essential for me.

This 1 well made for pop3 service.
eXchange POP3 ...is an email gateway (connector) that retrieves messages from Internet POP3 email accounts (IMAP also supported) and delivers them to Exchange Server.
Exchange Server only supports expensive SMTP connections. Save money with eXchange POP3 by using any inexpensive Dial-Up or DSL/Cable connection and one or more Internet POP3 mailboxes.

But, that's not all...eXchange POP3 protects your organization from dangerous and unwanted (spam) email and gives you complete control over messages entering and leaving your network.

    Loaded with features:
    anti-virus
    anti-spam
    rules engine
    real-time configuration,
    control and monitoring
    track and obtain detail history
    on all messages processed
    real-time connection status
    folders for archiving messages
based on rules or virus detection
    configuration wizard
    supports SMTP authentication
    when sending to Internet
    supports single and multiple user
    POP3 accounts
    unlimited POP3 accounts
    unlimited ISPs
    optionally leaves copy of
    messages on ISP
    supports IMAP accounts
    runs on Exchange Server or
    another computer in network
    warm regards.

    Re: E-mail Programs.

    Looks nice, but :

    1. ) I need a free program. It offers 30 day trial. Wouldn't work for me.
    2. ) It clearly says " Delivers to an Exchange Server" ( Something I don't have or use that I am aware of )

So, thanks for posting it - but not real helpful for me.

Derek -> I tried looking up Hivemail, but it gives an Apache page. *shrugs* ...

I may just look into Thunderbird ... seems I have used it before, and with the amount of e-mail accounts I will have, it may be useful again.

I think Windows Live Mail desktop is good, but something even more cross-compatible would be Thunderbird.
