Which one to buy..

Well I might be getting $75 dollars soon and trying to get $200 to start a forum. Which one is a better deal IPB or Vbull? Right now im thinking of buying Vbull but I have loved IPB for many years but recently they have come to suck.

Also do you recommend buying both of them like most of my friends have? If I do indeed buy Vbull or IPB and have an active forum do you think I will make enough money from VIP to renew my subscription..

hmm well they both have equal mods and things BUT I would have to say IPB becuase the mods and themes are easier to install. Plus IPB is ver similiar to vb but without the price gouging.

Oh and anyone should be able to make enough money off the VIP section. That will depend on how good your site is though. I think you can manage it!

Actually IPB costs a lot more and the past experiences with IPB 1.3.1 i have been hacked many times but I don't know about how they are now. Yeah but right now I need to get money to buy. I also think Vbull is a lot easier to skin.

I recommend vBulletin, another site I help run uses vBulletin, mods are easy to install (Upload files, Import an XML, and maybe a few template edits). I also don't think anybody has been hacked with vBulletin, and the pricing is great.
