Cstrike 1.6 is old school. Source owns and the mods that have been created for counter-strike source have been bountiful.

I played the beta versions then, 6.1... up to the first release 1.0 some decade ago or somethin' (I'm not quite sure, I was in elementary, now I'm in college). After that, I decided to play with a calculator.

I think it's same old - same old.You still get to kill an opponent using the traditional awp, mp5... , plant bombs, kill a hostage, bury your opponent in shame by killing him with a knife... Good old times, I wonder when will I play again.

I'm quite sure that the game play, graphics and sounds turned to be better.

If you are talking about mods created on Mani/ES, they are crap. They may look good to the client, but the backend of it is plain crap.
