Strong dc it's a goo d sharing client but if u have many hubs he make's a trerrible lagg .. u need to have between 1 to 4 hubs for it to work good
Edit:
one other thing u can do to quickly insert hubs is to to go to settings ->advanced and select: install url handler on startup (to handle dchub//link)
so u can quickly add hubs

Um, no. They aren't.

IRC works through a group of servers. Each server is connected to one "hub" server. Any number of servers may share a hub.

The basic means of communication in an established IRC session is a channel.

would you say that dc++ is better than limewire?

yes I would say that but I havent used limewire in a long time though, so maybe it has improved
I stoped using limewire and the likes that were around when I discovered dc++ I guess it's very much a matter of taste though

DC++ is fine if you have a good hub (Pref a 0day one). Otherwise its basically crap since the users can only view other users within the same hub.
