o.o here's what happened. Kerry came to the University of Florida to answer questions. This kid was elected to ask questions. He asked questions that became quite accusing of Kerry's decisions, but Kerry agreed to answer them. The police decided they didn't like the questions, disregarding Kerry saying all the time "let him go, I'll answer. I'll answer. Please let me answer." The police disobeyed him and arrested the kid, even though the kid did nothing against the law. The kid, of course, demanded an explanation and resisted. This is where THIS VIDEO begins.

Granted, the guy was annoying with those questions, and he was becoming more and more whiny, but Seinfeld sounds the same way. Would you tazer Seinfeld? FOR 5 WHOLE SECONDS? I think not.

I see nothing like that in the video. The kid started a rant and the police officers asked him to leave (in fear that he might rush the stage, it's common procedure). He then continued to rant and appear to be gaining anger, the police started to escort him off the grounds (not arrest) and he resisted against five or six large police officers. I would have tazed him because he could have been a potential threat he was resisting being escorted, far from being arrested, off the grounds.

Agreed! Although, the worst part about this whole thing is that while the kid was screaming from being tazed, Kerry answered his questions.

The police didn't listen to Kerry when Kerry said that he would answer the questions. They should have stayed still and let the kid listen to the answers. Also, the kid did not have any intention of rushing the stage. If he rushed, the cops standing behind Kerry would have gotten there first. They also should have warned him before grabbing him. A simple "okay, you are causing a riot. Leave the microphone please" would work. Instead, they grabbed him. It was as if they were punishing the kid for asking his questions and having an opinion. They were showing the kid what happens to people that disagree with the authority. That is the way the police work: to them, anyone with an active mind, an opinion, and the guts to speak it and spread it, is a threat to the order that the government makes through fear. Fear of what? Fear of that video.

Also, the kid was tazed for 5 seconds. A small jab would be enough to show the guy how painful it is. The cops wanted the kid to suffer for asking those questions.
