File Hosting For Everyone

FileVIP has re-opened, everything should be functional with it short of a few cosmetic things that need to be fixed. If you have some file hosting needs go over to FileVIP and upload your files! Registration is not required. If you have an x10 account store your files on FileVIP instead of your hosting account, don't risk getting suspended for file hosting. Please post on the x10 forums or Email us if you find any issues with it. (Still working out the bugs).

Well, i just received the newsletter and that was what was written.

If i did understood right, the bold/italic part (i've added) its affirming this ---> To avoid getting suspended by hosting copyrighted files in your x10 account, host your Copyrighted Material here at fileVIP.

But i was thinking: Ok, its a file hosting and anything can be hosted.
Since TOS of x10 says we cant even link to warez or any website that have copyrighted material for download, if i host them in fileVIP, i could or could NOT provide the link in my x 10 webpage?

Not quite. The newsletter didn't say anything about copyrighted files being stored on FileVIP ... it said "files" as some people store various things ( legally ) on x10 and have friends or family or themselves using the hosting account as a file host, instead of a web-host.

So, to keep from being suspended for file hosting ( not copyright material hosting ) ... use FileVIP to store your material.

Basically it's addon storage that you only store files on and keeps your hosting account free for your website. But on that note can you setup your website to simply be loaded with links to files hosted at fileVIP rather than an actual website?

The one thing that you can use FileVIP for is if you want people to download somefile instead of using the space on x10 you can use FileVIP.

ya ya, i understood that already, its like a rapidshare or megaupload that we upload anything...

i just to know if, even i uploading anything (like music albums or games or anything), could i provide the links in my website? since they are not hosted in my acc neither in a warez xD?
