IE keeps crashing.

Last night my PC kept locking up on me. So I thought I would reinstall windows xp. While trying to install windows it kept locking up on me. Just to rule out hardware problem.

I changed out the psu, memory and it still locks up. So I changed out the processor to rule that out. By using the processor from my other pc. When I done that pc started to work fine.

Then I installed the old processor again and tryed that one. Now it seems to be working fine without problems. I jsut wounder what caused the problem in the first place.

Your Processor might have just been having a bad day !
It could have been a glitch in the processor and it needed to be re-installed,
it does seem very strange> but glad your problem has been fixed.
