And because it'd end up on your hosting account, you're the one who would get nailed with the 7 day warez suspension, assuming you didn't get hit with the TOS first:

1. Server Usage Personal accounts are to be used by the primary owner only. Personal account holders are not permitted to resell, store or give away web-hosting services of their website to other parties. Web hosting services are defined as allowing a separate, third party to host content on the owner's web site. Exceptions to this include ad banners, classified ads, and personal ads.

Read that, and fix it in a hurry athiwatc, cause it _is_ in TOS violation now

And like I said: How long before you'd get hit with one of these:

» Illegal Material : This includes copyrighted works, commercial audio, video, or music files, and any material in violation of any Federal, State or Local regulation. You may not store copyrighted Mp3s on your webspace in any way shape or form.

» Adult Material : Includes all pornography, erotic images, or otherwise lewd or obscene content. The designation of "adult material" is left entirely to the discretion of x10Hosting.

» Warez : Includes pirated software, ROMS, emulators, phreaking, hacking, password cracking, IP spoofing, etc., and encrypting of any of the above. Also includes any sites which provide "links to" or "how to" information about such material.

» Anime : Copyrighted anime is not allowed on our servers. This includes variations of anime including manga, hentai etc. Also inlcudes any sites which provide links to information about such material. If you created the material yourself, you may host the content on your site.

My guess is not long, and if they happen to check and it's there, you're done for



Just wanna point out this is on AdFree as well, which has been having problems on Stoli due to warez, inactive accounts, etc. This appears to be on Absolut, but it sure isn't going to help things there to open it up to content that would do little more than bog the server down by acting like RapidShare, MegaUpload, or the slew of other online-fileservers out there.

In their defense I think he thought he was within the bounds of the TOS.

But unfortunately, as he just found out the hard way, he wasn't.


I guess my question is did he get 4-day for TOS violation, file upload, or 7-day because someone already had Warez up there? I'd check mehself, but the staff suspension page ain't working >_<

Nah definately not within the terms of service when it's publically available with "Upload upto 50MB. hosted on a 300MB account". Not even passworded.

Well for starters it is a TOS violation. I would not even have to check any further. Although i am going to. As it stands now it's 4 days. If i do find "warez" then the suspension length will increase to 7 days.
