I don't know if the "Shop" will return or not. The point system isn't always "worth it."

There's really no need for a point system here. We're not doing post-for-hosting here so, I don't see a point in having it.

but it would also allow users to customize there usernames eg colour styles and change there username completely.
whihc would make this forum active as well. not as active as the post to host but people would post just for the fun of it.

In Mozilla the colored names don't work anyways. Neither do the other name effects.

And plus, letting users change their names, and colors can get both confusing and messy. What if someone tried to pose as someone else. Or tried to pose as an Admin by changing their name color to orange?

Just being the guy who sees the glass as half empty. ;)
